Who’s ready for some Halloween shopping at your craft stores! So you want to start crafting for Halloween, but you don’t want to wait for an order to come in… and you’ve run out of supplies from last year… or you just want some NEW stuff.
What do you do?
I have a few go-to stores for craft supplies.
- Joannes
- Michaels
- Hobby Lobby
- Target
- And, believe it or not, Dollar Tree.
The disappointing part is that some of these stores either get their stuff in so late that I’ve already started online shopping, or (and this is worse) they don’t have hardly anything I can use.
But I have to admit that the stuff they DO get in is stuff that I just HAVE to get… which is why I keep checking back.
Luckily for all of us, Michaels and Joanne have already gotten SOME stuff in.
I also checked Hobby Lobby. They don’t do much for Halloween, it’s only 1 aisle, and they were just starting to get some of it on the shelves. I did see some stickers, but nothing else yet for my paper crafting needs.
Here’s what I saw at Michaels and Joannes.
Lots of decor (which is great for getting ideas) and a little for paper crafters like me. I did love the unicorn and dragon skelletons, and the magic mirror. I just wish there was more patterned paper, stamps and stencils… I’ll just have to wait and keep checking back.
Target doesn’t have anything yet, but I’ll check back soon. And I’ll do a quick video of Dollar Tree later this week… they had a bunch of stuff to craft with. I was too busy filling my cart, to try videoing. LOL.
