Vintage Bookmarks and Bottlecap Charms

Today I’m making some bookmarks and bottle cap charms and using some coffee images from the “Another Cup of Coffee” digital kit from Taylormadecards4u!

You’ll also want to check out the Crafter’s Castle’s Monthly Challenge. The challenge is “anything goes” and is solely sponsored by TaylorMadecards4u.

This month’s prize is the “another cup of coffee” digital kit that I’m using for today’s project. Which means that the challenge is open Worldwide!

By the way, check out my video and stick around till the end. I have a coupon code for you to get 20% off your purchase at Taylormadecards4u.

Another Cup of Coffee

I’ll be using this bookmark kit from Beebeecraft and the circle images from the “Another Cup of Coffee” digital kit that I’ve been using for my coffee theme projects lately.

The circles are a bit larger than I need for this project, so I just resized them before printing them out on 28lb printer paper.

The bookmark kit comes with both the settings and the clear glass cabochons to make 16 bookmarks.

I’ve made some of these bookmarks before, so check them out in this other video.

I resized the image (it’s a full sheet of circle images) from the digital kit so that each circle was approximately 1” x 1”, and printed 2 copies of each circle image.. I printed them on 28 lb copy paper, but you could use sticker paper for this as well.

Then I punched them all out with a 1” circle punch. This size works perfectly for both the bookmarks and the bottle cap charms.

I used Glossy Accents to adhere everything together.  It’s a very strong adhesive and dries crystal clear.

For the bottle cap charms, I had picked up a kit from Hobby Lobby about a year ago, and didn’t see it on their website… so I don’t know if they have it available any longer.

  • The kit came with:
    Flattened chrome bottle caps
    Epoxy dome stickers
    Chains
