Witch Crossing Spanner Card

Let’s make a Spanner Card !

I just had to make another card using this digital stamp set from Oddball Stamps. After all, I did color and cut out extra elements on that slimline card I did earlier.

This one is going to be a spanner card.

    1. Top folding card base – black
      1. Cut front panel top to bottom at 1 ¼” from right and left edge
    2. Inside panel – 4″ x 5 ¼” – white
    3. 4 strips of Pattern Papers – 1″ x 4″
    4. Front flap Pattern Paper– 2 ¾” x 4″

I’m starting with a top folding black card-base that I made from Michaels heavyweight card stock.

I’m scoring at 4 ¼. And then folding and burnishing on the score.

Next we’ll make a couple of cuts.

Using my Fiskars Rotary Trimmer, I’m cutting the front panel at 1 ¼ from the side edge on each end, and cutting from the fold to the bottom of the panel.

Once the card base is ready, you just decorate with pattern paper, stamping, ephemera and embellishments.  I really love how mine turned out, and would love to see yours!
