Today I’m pulling out lots and lots of glitters and trying my hand at creating some DIY Glitter Paper!
Why? It’s time for a new Card Hoppin’ Video Hop. And the themes this month are Glitter, Gilding Flakes, and Birthday Projects!

Today’s video is part of this month’s Card Hoppin’ video hop being organized by the Handmade Happiness Facebook group.

DIY Glitter Paper?
You’ve probably never seen me use glitter. And you know why? Because it’s always messy!
I’m in Florida, so the AC is always on… which means that the Glitter just goes flying! Even if that doesn’t happen… too much, I always bump it and spill it… and it gets everywhere. UGH!
This time, I’m not only trying out a technique to create DIY Glitter Paper, but I’m ALSO trying out using a big plastic bin to contain the mess. The bin I’m using is one of the drawers from one of the 10 drawer rolling carts that I recently picked up from Michaels.
I’m also using the new Paint Your World die collection from Spellbinders. If you are a regular on my YouTube channel and blog you already know how much I LOVE all things Spellbinders. And this month’s new releases just keep me wanting to make more and more things… But I really need to move on to the NEXT set in the collection or I’ll never get them all done! I’m just in love with all the things!
