  • Catherine Pooler Inks – Bellini
  • Catherine Pooler Inks – Pixie Dust

Step-by-Step Tutorial:

Card 1 Step by Step:

Step 1 : Stamp the rainbow.

The Smile Bright Stamp Set creates a rainbow with three arches. I used Sweet Sixteen for the bottom arch, It’s a Girl for the middle arch and Bellini for the top arch. I also stamped the rainbow slightly off center, to the left.

Step 2 : Decorate the rainbow.

I used some of the decorative stamps to dress up my rainbow a bit more and stamped them over my colored rainbow arches in Versafine Clair Nocturn Ink.

Step 3 : Create some sentiments.

I picked a couple of sentiments – they pair so nicely – and stamped them onto a scrap of white cardstock and fussy cut them out.

Step 4 : Create a matching matting layer.

Using Sweet Sixteen ink, I added a soft purple edge to a card panel.

Step 5 : Trim the card panels.

The front panel I trimmed to 3 3/4 x 5 , and the matting layer to 4 x 5 1/2.

Step 6 : Put it all together.

I adhered the front panel to the matting layer with Art Glitter glue and popped everything up with foam tape to the front of an A2 card-base made from heavy weight card stock. Then I positioned my two sentiments, again on foam tape, to the front of my card. (PRO TIP: Use art glitter glue on your foam to give yourself a little wiggle room when positioning.)

Card 2 Step by Step:

Step 1 : Butterflies.

I die-cut the little butterflies and ink blended them with Sweet Sixteen and Pixie Dust inks.

Step 2 : Create the background.

Using the new Whipped Honey and Ginger mini ink pads, I swiped the ink into stripes across an A2 card panel.

Step 3 : Add some sentiments.

I positioned everything in my Misti, butterflies included, so that I could get the right placement for my sentiments. After picking the stamps up with the Misti door, I removed the butterflies and stamped the sentiments in Versafine Clair Nocturn Ink.

Step 4 : Trim the card panel.

The front panel I trimmed to 4 x 5 1/2.

Step 5 : Put it all together.

I popped the front panel up with foam tape and added it to the front of an A2 card-base made from heavy weight card stock.

(PRO TIP: Use art glitter glue on your foam to give yourself a little wiggle room when positioning.)

I adhered the butterflies to the front of my card with Art Glitter Glue.

Step 6 : Add some bling.

To finish this off, I added some tiny gems from my stash

Card 3 Step by Step:

Step 1 : Create a wreath.

I used one of the decorative arch stamps and my misty to create a wreath shape, stamping in Grass Skirt ink.

Step 2 : Add a sentiment.

There is space in the center of the wreath for a sentiment, so I used my Misti and Versafine Clair Nocturn in to stamp the sentiment.

Step 3 : Add some flowers.

I took out some Tutti Fruitti, Party Dress, Cranberry Fizz and Pixie Dust inks and added little flowers to my wreath.

I adhered the matting layer to the card base with Art Glitter glue and popped the card panel to the matting layer with foam tape. to the front of an A2 cardbase made from heavy weight card stock. Then I positioned my two sentiments, again on foam tape, to the front of my card.

(PRO TIP: Use art glitter glue on your foam to give yourself a little wiggle room when positioning.)
