Spellbinders July 2021 Clubs Blog Hop

Hello! Welcome to the Spellbinders July 2021 Clubs Blog Hop + Giveaway!

You came here from: Michelle Starcher  (full list is down below!)

If you saw my recent July 2021 Spellbinders Large Die of the Month and July 2021 Glimmer of the Month posts and videos, you already know that I had so much fun playing with these new kits.

Here are the July 2021 Club Kits that I used to create the cards today.

Be sure to scroll all the way through for the GIVEAWAY details below!

For today’s hop, I made a couple more cards combining these kits with some other Spellbinders Glimmer plates and foils that I have in my stash.  They turned out so fantastic!

Loving this first card!

For my first card, I combined the kits with the Glimmer Gift Border Glimmer Hot Foil Plate from Yana’s Christmas Foiled Basics Collection by Yana Smakula.  Yes, this is a Christmas foil plate, but it works great for any occasion!  I combined it with some Rainbow Glimmer Hot Foil, and now we have some colorful packages for a Birthday Card.

I foiled the packages on a scalloped edged panel cut from the July 2021 Large Die of the Month Kit and added a frame of glimmer dots from the July 2021 Club Kit around my colorful packages in Gold Glimmer Foil.

For the sentiment, I added a “happy birthday” foiled sentiment from the Everyday Sentiments hot foil set that was released in the February 2019 Glimmer Hot Foil Kit of the month. Unfortunately, the set is no longer available.  But there are others that would work perfectly for this sentiment.

I popped the scalloped panel onto some foam strips and added it to a gold foil paper panel that was cut the largest dotted and stitched frame. Then I adhered the whole thing to the front of a 6 ½ by 3 ½ mini slimline card base and added some colorful gems.

It’s just so pretty!

Check out my second card.

The second card was made in pretty much the same way.  This time I used the Have a Crafty Day – Glimmer Hot Foil Kit of the Month.  This is the perfect set for sending cards to all of your crafty friends… especially those that LOVE FOIL! (the full kit came out last August… but the plates are available NOW and ON SALE as of the time of this post)

Again, I used the rainbow foil for the main image (I just love all the crafty supplies) and foiled on another scallop edged panel.  Then I added the glimmer dots frame in gold foil.  I used the same gold foil to create the sentiment, and layered everything up the same as my first card.

Loving this!!!
