Today I’m creating some Valentine Cards Using the Spellbinders Glimmer and Die Kits of the month for January 2022.
I’m primarily using the Die of the Month Kit for today’s cards because it makes a perfect background. It’s a cover plate die, and I used it to cut out panels from white cardstock, pink and white pattern paper, and red foil paper. These colors look so nice together!

I’m sharing my projects as part of the Spellbinders Club Influencer Group.
If you don’t know how the kit clubs work, here’s some information from the Spellbinders website.
I also used the new NEW Embossing Folder of the month club (Spreading Love) to emboss the white panel after cutting it out so that I wouldn’t lose the embossing. Then, for each of the 3 cards, I’m alternating papers for the triangle sections that I cut out with the die.
Then I took the little hearts from the paper that I hadn’t yet used and filled them all in. These cards have a lot of paper piecing… and kind of felt like putting a puzzle together.
