Flowers and Filigree

Today I’m using the Amazing Paper Grace Club of the Month to create a Flowers and Filigree Card.

If you’ve tried ANY of the Amazing Paper Grace dies, you know that using them creates some fabulous cards filled with lots of filigree elements. This month’s club is a perfect example of how you can create some awesome cards.

Flowers and Filigree

In today’s video, I cut all the filigree parts from Spellbinders amazing Gold Mirror Cardstock. I know, I keep telling you how amazing it is. If you haven’t tried it or found cardstock that feels like metal, then you have no idea what I’m talking about and you will be as amazed as I am when you do. Until the January Card Kit, I didn’t know that this existed for cardmakers to use. And I am just in LOVE with this paper!

I only used a few of the filigree dies to get the look I wanted. then I moved on to the flowers. I’ve learned so much from playing with the dimensional flowers die sets that Spellbinders has released over the last 6 month’s or so. (check out those posts here) So I’m using a medium size ball stylus to shape the petals of my flowers… and I made a LOT of them… now I have extras to use on some other cards.

I put everything together with some pattern paper from the Card Kit of the month, a sentiment stamp from that kit, and some crystal gems from my stash.

Check out how I created this Flowers and Filigree Card using the NEW Amazing Paper Grace Club Kit from Spellbinders.
