I know… It’s blazing hot outside, and here I am talking about Christmas and Christmas crafting. Making Christmas cards is probably one of the biggest types of crafting that we cardmakers do. And we send so many handmade Christmas cards that we need to get started. So Christmas in July Cardmaking is perfect!

You are gonna love this month’s Clubs from Spellbinders! As a Spellbinders influencer, I DO get many of the clubs to share inspiration with you, and I LOVE them all. But this month (ok… and the last couple of months) I just couldn’t resist buying some of the clubs that they didn’t send me already. And they all work so well together.

But here are some videos showing some of the cards that I’ve made so far! I’m also sharing pics over on Instagram, in my Facebook group and in my Discord Server. I’d love for you to check them out, hit the heart or like and let me know what you think in the comments.

And if you use any of my cards for inspiration, feel free to post in my group or discord server (in Discord, pic the Stream Showcase area and I’ll share your cards on my next livestream!)

By the way, I’d love to know what format you like best on YouTube!

In this livestream, we played with the Glimmer of the month and made multiple cards using the same foil plate layout by holding them in place with Press N’ Seal! Who Knew?!? This was a new technique for me and I’m so pleased with how it worked out.

To color my holly and berries, I used Simon Hurley inks and the Deluxe Caboodle bonus stencil that goes along with the Glimmer Plate. This made creating the cards so fast, and so beautiful.

I then used the waste foil to create some additional cards on black cardstock by using the solid rectangle glimmer plate from Spellbinders. (These were actually the ones chosen by the card winners on this live. They just love how we can use our waste foil like this)

Then I went on to play with the die of the month. I just love this ice skate! And it’s always nice to have extra foliage and flowers to embellish your design with.

You may recognize the background designs from Kendra’s Card Challenge. I’m on her design team this quarter and will be using some of her card sketches in my cards. In this video I decided to use sketches 1 – 3… because they use one sheet of 6 x 6 pattern paper! Then I added them to some card panels that I made using the embossing folder of the month for some perfect backgrounds.

By the way, I also used some of the dies from this die set in an Artesprix Project that you can see here on July 20th,2024.

In the final video, I used the Betterpress of the month (I just love the little truck!) and Lisa Horton’s Interference inks. If you haven’t tried these inks, you will be amazed when you do.

Would you believe that the truck in both cards is pressed using the same ink pad?

Her Interference Inks are just magical. They stamp one color on white cardstock, and a different color on black cardstock.

These trucks were stamp/pressed with the Sapphire Gold Shimmer Ink pad and shows up in blue on the white card and gold on the black. Both trucks have a fun shimmer. For the tires I used Black Betterpress ink on the white card, and white pigment ink on the black. For the trees, I used Leaf Betterpress Ink.

Off camera, I did some playing with the wax seal of the month and found that Simon Hurley Lunar Paste did an awesome job of bringing out the detail of the snowflakes! SCORE!

Here is a quick look at the cards that I created in these videos. All of them use the new July 2024 Clubs from Spellbinders. Plus the bonus die set that came with The Deluxe Caboodle Value Club Membership. The Deluxe Caboodle Value Club Membership includes ALL of the clubs, plus a bonus. A value of $315 for only $120 (as of 6/24/2024)
