Light up St. Nick Christmas Card |Pear Blossom Press

Hi Crafty Friends! I’m Debbie with Debbie J’s Crafting Corner, and today we are creating a fun light up card featuring Santa! OK… it’s St. Nick, but he’s the same guy, right? This die set from Spellbinders is one of those that, as soon as I saw it, I knew I’d have to make at least one light up card with it.

I’ve noticed that this is happening more and more often…I’m just loving using Amanda’s Lights!

If you’ve been thinking about making light-up cards but weren’t sure where to start, don’t worry—I’ve got you covered! My Light-Up Card BASICS Mini-course will walk you through everything you need to know, from choosing the right lights to designing beautiful cards that shine.

To create this fun card, I die cut St. Nick from some of my paper scraps, put him together, and added lights behind his lantern and a couple of snowflakes in the background (the background is from a 12 x 12 paper pack that I’ve had since 2019… use your stash guys!). For the sentiment, I pulled one of my previously foiled holiday sentiments from the Home for Christmas Sentiments Press Plate from Spellbinders (yes, you can use Better Press Plates to foil) from my stash.
