Hi Guys! I just love how well the Club Kits from Spellbinders work together each month. And this month has me thinking “Spring” with all of the fun florals!
Playing with Wax Seals LIVE
On a recent Livestream, I broke out the wax seal of the month, some extra wax seals and wax beads along with a wax seal warmer. And, of course, someone asked about the new Wax Gun that I recently received to review. (You can see the review here.)
I just had so much fun making seals and chatting with everyone on the live.
I wanted to add one of the seals to a card (and sent it out to a lucky viewer. I like giving away a card during most of my livestreams) So I die cut the flowers – AND a couple of cute little birds – from the Die of the Month, and added these to the front of an embossed panel using the Embossing Folder of the Month.
Making Fun Foiled Floral Cards
Later this week, I pulled out the Glimmer of the Month. You know how I love my foil! The plan was to create just a couple of cards… and that turned into FIVE as I pulled out some of the other Club Kits.
I started off by foiling up the pretty flower… 3 times. And then I couldn’t help but use an Essential Glimmer Solid Rectangle plate to use the waste foil… because it’s NOT WASTE! You can make another card with it!
Anyway, pair that with the other kits, and 5 fun cards were born.
I used some Simon Hurley and Catherine Pooler inks to add a little extra color, and the cards turned out so pretty.
