Hi guys! I can’t believe that I’ve NOT been sharing all the fun Halloween Makes from my recent livestream series “It’s Halloween Crafting Time! Let’s Create some Cards”
Anyway, if you missed any of my Tuesday night lives, here are some of the projects that you may have missed.
But don’t worry… I leave the replays up on YouTube so you can still see them and get some crafting inspiration before Halloween is over!
Halloween Shakers!
For these fun shakers, I used the Infinity Shaker Pouches from Rabbit Hole Designs and some die cuts that have been hiding in my stash for the last year or so. The ghost and haunted house are still available from Spellbinders, but it looks like the “eek” die set with the cute trick or treaters is no longer available. BUT, I’m sure you have something similar in your own Halloween crafty stash.
A “Fangtastic” Cocktail!
OMG! This was just too fun. I used the new Boos! Cocktails die set from Spellbinders and paired it with some pattern paper from my stash and the Cheers to Us Large Die of the month from last December. It’s a great idea to pull out some of those older dies and bring new life to them… even when using for a different theme than designed for! For the “bloody” drips and splatter, I used red embossing powder that I’ve had for about 5 years. This makes me think of the show “Dexter” for some reason.
Fun Skeleton Flamingos!
Now, believe it or not, this card was sort of planned. At least the flamingos were. You know I live in Florida and people like to decorate their yards with plastic pink flamingos… well I’ve been wanting Halloween ones for YEARS (my hubby, Todd, doesn’t want me to do that to his yard… so not yet!
Anyway, when Spellbinders came out with the Grand Tropical Flamingos Large Die of the Month in May, I just had to buy it (yes, I’m on the influencer team and many of the product I use are given to me to create with… but I’m like you. Sometimes there are things that I just HAVE to add to my Collection! And many of the Large Die of the Month products have shouted “buy me”.)
I die cut them from black and added “skeleton bones” with a white gel pen and it gave just the look I was going for. LOVE IT!
For the background, I did some easy stenciling with the Haunted Moon Blending Stencil (layering stencil) and that completed this fun card.
A little Doorway Decor!
Here is another using dies that have just been sitting in my stash. Do you see a theme here? I’m trying to use something from crafty stash instead of just new on almost every card lately. This one used the Open House Door Base die set, and the a couple of add-ons (The Open House Halloween and Open House Pumpkin are no longer available, but I found some at Scrapbook.com and Amazon… once they are gone, they are gone)
Yummy! How about a creepy cupcake?
Now this one is just so sweet…ok. I had to!
The background is an old gel print practice panel using some acrylic paint. I don’t remember when I did it, but it worked great for this.
The cupcake uses the Boo-licious Fall Cupcake large die of the month from September 2023… and is no longer available. It WAS on the Spellbinders site when I did the video, but must have sold out. If you want them to bring it back…. maybe for next Halloween crafting season, let them know!
Even pups what to Trick or Treat
Isn’t that pug pup just too cute? For this card I used the Woof-or Treat die set from Spellbinders, a background created with Distress Mica Spray Stains and a circle mask (be sure to watch the video to see how easy this really is) and a Pear Blossom Press Mini Action Wobble!
Spooky Scary Skeletons!
This is still one of my favorite Halloween Cards. Scrappy Tails Crafts came out with an amazing Halloween Collection and this was just part of it. Check out my other Scrappy Tails Crafts posts to see more. I got the biggest kick out of creating with the skelletons for this card… and I had to pull them out for more. This die set will be a staple for my Halloween Crafting for years to come.
Fun with Foil and Stuff from my Stash
For this video, I hadn’t yet started collecting new products and it was one of the first for this Halloween season. So I just started playing with things in my stash. The bats background was made with Deco-Foil Transfer Gel and gold foil, the pumpkin and ghosts are from Simon Hurley and Spellbinders and the pumpkin has an action wobble from Pear Blossom Press.
Project Pics!
Here are some photos of the finished cards.
More supplies are listed in the description boxes for each video if you are interested. And, if I missed listing anything, please let me know .
I really hope that this post and the videos spark your Halloween Creative Spirit. I love card making all year round, but Halloween has a special place in my heart.
