Beautiful Sentiment Vignettes - Spellbinders

Hi guys!

Today I’m sharing a couple of projects using products from the Beautiful Sentiment Vignettes by Becca Feeken Collection! Spellbinders sent some beautiful die sets, and a wonderful stamp set for me to play with.  They are just amazing and I loved making these cards with them!

As soon as my package arrived, I had to start playing.  I just  couldn’t resist.  They aren’t a style I typically work with, probably because I’ve never tried them, and I absolutely love how elegant cards turned out.

AND they were super easy to create.

For each card, I used the outside die to create my card base…yes, I’m making shaped cards today.  I just cut a base with the fold slightly inside the die, and cut another piece to adhere to the front.  It worked perfectly!

The first card uses the Birthday Wishes Vignette die set. I used white cardstock for the larger pieces, and some rose gold foil cardstock from Michaels for all of the detailed pieces.  I also cut some additional layers for the sentiment out of white cardstock to give it more dimension.

A little alcohol marker coloring, and some Nuvo drops later finished up this beautiful birthday card.

The other 2 cards that I made use the Happy Anniversary Vignette die set.  I love how the rose gold foil cardstock looked for the first card, so I thought I’d try it on the second one too.

This time I used the outer 2 dies to cut the frame and detail out, while leaving the center solid.  This gives me a rose gold backdrop for my sentiment circle, which I cut from 3 layers of white cardstock.

I added some nuvo drops, and that finishes the front…. But I turned it into an easel card by scoring and folding one panel of the top folding card base, and adhering the front panel to the lower portion of the folded side!  LOVING IT!

For the last card, I used silver glitter paper instead of foiled cardstock.  I cut the sentiment background in white, and used the glitter paper for the top layer of the sentiment.

I also used some of my favorite tiny teal gems to embellish the front.  It just looks so elegant… reminds me of Cinderella’s carriage.

This one I also turned into a top-folding easel card.
