You’ll love this watercolor pumpkin card that I’m creating for today’s hop. Each of us will be C.A.S.E.ing ourselves with watercolor and/or markers. If you don’t know what C.A.S.E is, it stands for Copy and Share Everything.
Today’s Card Hoppin’ Hop
Today’s video is part of this month’s Card Hoppin’ video hop being organized by the Handmade Happiness Facebook group.
The idea behind this blog series is to give you a year of fun themes and techniques. So be sure to check back each month for lots of fun inspiration.
I decided to use this card as my inspiration. It’s working kind of as a card sketch, I guess. And just like this card, today I’ll be playing with some Jane Davenport watercolors.
When I made the first card, I had just gotten these watercolors and I was so surprised at how well it turned out. So, I thought I’d try it again.

My Watercolor Pumpkin Card
I’m not a watercolor expert by any means, but I think I’m getting better with practice. I love how the card came together. It’s so warm and inviting. And slowing down to watercolor was definitely soothing. I always have trouble slowing down, so this technique, while it DOES make you do that, it doesn’t really take that long, and would be great for a little “self-care”.
