LIVE FROM AUSTIN | Crafting with Debbie LIVE! -

Did you miss any of the impromptu live streams during Thanksgiving week? I was LIVE from Austin, Texas, and the streams were totally unplanned.

A little background. We went to visit my inlaws for the holiday. And, of course, I took some minimal crafting supplies and my laptop. The reason that I took the laptop with me was that the Birthday Celebration Hop had gone on shortly before the trip, and I needed to draw for all of the winners and upload an announcement video.

Near the beginning of the trip, I was lucky enough to get together with a couple of local crafters. It was so awesome to get to meet Bitty Penny and Erin Reed for the first time IN REAL LIFE for some crafting and chatting!

Then, on the morning I had planned to do the drawing, my laptop died. Actually, I haven’t tried to turn it on since then. Anyway, a dead laptop doesn’t allow for recording or editing a video. So my mother-in-law saved the day by getting me an early Christmas Present… a new laptop that is powerful enough to live stream!

Which means that I had to test it out.

My awesome subbies and Livestream tribe popped in to hang out. And because we were having so much fun just hanging out and crafting together (very low-key), we kept coming back to get together. And on one of the lives, I invited some of my crafty friends to join in on-screen. It was Awesome!
