I love Hot Foil, Spellbinders Glimmer Plates, and making cards! So, tonight, I got all of the foiling done with the New Glimmer of the Month to create some Hot Foil Galentines!
OK… I’m not sure if this is just a cardmaker thing. But a few years back I discovered that, while we typically have ONE valentine (in my case, my husband), we could have a LOT of Galentines! What’s a Galentine?
That would be any of your Gal Pals that you want to show a little love to during the Valentine season. I have a feeling that it may have been started to help our friends that don’t have a significant other on Valentine’s Day.
So I broke out my new Glimmer of the Month Plates and did a little (ok… a lot) of Hot Foiling while we were streaming live.
Be sure to check out the video to see my foiling successes, fails and how I turned some of the not quite right foiled pieces into something I can use on my cards.
AFTER the live, I foiled up some more sentiments and put all these cards together. PLUS, I did a drawing and will be mailing each of the six cards to lucky winners on the channel. Six cards, Six winners this week!
