It’s time for a new Planning with Debbie project! Let’s make a Dashboard!

This week, I decided to change things up a little. I love watching Nicole Sphor’s planner videos and wanted to try something that I saw her do recently… decorating AFTER the pen is all planned out.

She used post-it notes to plan out her month in January. After January was done, she created a beautiful layout and left just the right enough amount of space for what she needed to record.

Ya’ll are probably getting tired of me talking about her planning videos. I can’t help it. Just like her card videos inspire my card making, her planning videos inspire me and are really helping to inspire me and keep me going.

Anyway, I decided to try this out with both my weekly spread this week and my monthly spread for February. So, for my video this week I’m creating a new dashboard!

The pattern paper that I’m using for this dashboard is from a 2017 pattern paper pad from Michaels. And it’s all about fitness. Why did I pick that paper pad? Because one of the things I want to improve in 2022 is my physical fitness.

And, since it was 70% off, I had just picked up a fitness Happy Planner to go along with the Classic I already have. So I’m also trying out the “Franken planner” idea… and need a divider to separate these two sections of my planner.

And making dashboards is easy and fun!

One of the things I’ll be tracking in my planner is when I mail out the cards that I give away after creating them on some of my regular videos.

If you want a chance to get one of these cards:

  • Subscribe to my YouTube channel (so you never miss a video).
  • Subscribe to my email newsletter below (so you never miss a notification).

I’ve also started a new Facebook group (Planning Crafters) with my friend Elizabeth Costa-Roger for crafters like me can help each other keep each other accountable by sharing how we are each using our planners, learn more about planning for crafters and just figure out the whole planning thing from a crafter’s point of view.

If this is something that YOU would like to be a part of, check out the link further down this blog post.
